ORTHOVISC®-T is an injectable viscoelastic sodium hyaluronate solution for the treatment of chronic lateral epicondylopathy. The product helps relieve pain and restore tendon function. ORTHOVISC®-T is injected around the affected tendon or into the tendon sheath. One treatment cycle consists of two injections administered one week apart.

INJECTION TECHNIQUE
- Patient seated with elbow flexed
- Mark injection site at the point of maximum pain
- Disinfect according to guidelines
- Inject the needle around the affected tendon or into the tendon sheath; do not inject directly into the tendon
- Position the needle at a 45º angle and inject half of the syringe content
- The needle is not withdrawn from the skin; only the needle angle is adjusted
- Injection using the fanning technique
- Rotate the syringe 180º, advance and then withdraw it while injecting the remaining ORTHOVISC®-T to create a fan-shaped infiltration area
- Withdraw the needle completely
- After the injection, slowly flex and extend the wrist five times, then slowly rotate it inward and outward five times to ensure an even distribution of the product over the tendon
