Pain therapy using thermoshock treatment
During CRYOFOS treatment, liquid CO₂ gas is sprayed onto the affected area at high pressure via the device applicator, cooling the treatment zone from 32°C to approximately 2–4°C within 30 seconds. Through the nerves, the brain receives a signal that dilates blood vessels and activates lymphatic pathways. This breaks down inflammatory substances and relieves pain. Thermoshock treatment is not an ice or cold-air treatment.
